I've been out today so I haven't been able to post this until now.
Yestarday we had a great pick with Wade. He gave us 47, and was injuried in the last play while losing to Celtics.
So the pick was, again, the best one.
-> There have been problems with the updates of yesterday's results. I hope that it'll work soon. But anyway, we did it nice.
Now let's go with today's pick.
Today we have to roll on with Gerald Wallace. He will play home, where he is much more better than away.
Take a look at wednesday's post where is analysed why Gerald Wallace was better for today.
In case you picked Wallace on the last Bobcats game (why didn't you trust me? that cost you lots of points! :P) your pick is Captain Jack.
There are only 2 other options for today:
·Jennings (or Salmons if you picked him). Neither of them makes me feel confident right now. Is a poor pick.
·Aldridge. We can wait until at least 5th game where if everything goes OK we'll pick him. Is the best decision, in an elimination game.
So, Crash is our pick. He will play with energy in Charlotte.
Dear Gerald, Love for you and Blocks for them! :P
Good luck!
Driving with Wallace
ReplyDeleteOk Julen,
ReplyDeleteI have some questions and pondering i wanted your opinion on. This is the time in the series where you need to start predicted series length and winners.
First this is what i am pretty sure on:
Cleveland will win in 5 games -maybe 6 if the bulls really pull some magic out of their hat
Boston will sweep- they have the heat beat both mentally and physically
Now this is what im not sure on:
I think phx will pull out the series victory but will it go 6 or 7? (today's game could tell me that)
Who will win between Denver and Utah? I think it is very possible it goes 7 and Denver certainly has the talent to come back and win while Utah is hurt and not very deep.
Will Atlanta sweep? I think so but am not positive.
Will Orlando sweep? I think Charlotte could pull out game 4 but in either case Orlando wins in 4 or 5 back at home.
How many more games will OKC win? (again today's game will tell us a lot) I think they could push this thing 6 games- they have the young upstart talent, the desire is there it all depends on how much the Lakers want it.
And who will win the Dallas San Antonio series? That series is totally up in the air! San Antonio has the experience, while Dallas has the talent while being younger-which will play a part in the later games. I think this thing goes 7 either way. I am still not convinced SAS has it. The next game will tell us a lot (i think whoever wins game will win the series, if Dal wins they take back home court and win in 7, while is SAS wins they take a 3-1 lead and will finish it back home in game 6 or game 7 either way they are not losing 3 straight games)
So lots of questions and with not a lot of definite answers.
However it affects our picks. So far i agree with you, we have made the best picks everyday!
But now things get tricky.
Here are a couple of questions?
1. Since the bulls won forcing a game 5 do we want to take Beasley instead of Deng on Sunday as Miami is likely to lose and we won't be able to use him again. Also Wade has been suffering from leg cramps and even missed the last play (the huge shot from piece) when normally Wade will be on the floor at the end no matter what. So i think Beasley should get more shots and they will rely on him more with Wade hurt and O'neil doing nothing against the Celtics front line. We could then take Deng on Tuesday.
2. Who do we take on Monday if Portland wins today? If they lose i think ALdrige is a good pick for monday because phx is pretty much guaranteed to win the series. However if they lose who do we pick? A buck? The inconsistent Jennings? another Bobcat? Just take a risk and pick a blazer regardless?
3. Now that Brandon Roy is back is her worth using at all? Now we have the luxury to wait and see if he can actually produce good stats but he is a player we want to keep an eye on cause when healthy he is a solid pick.
Thats all for now otherwise we start getting into what if this and that.
But some important questions to answer and think about before we pick. We have a great lead and it would suck to loss out on that now.
