Let's start this.
As we can see in the timetable and in the players page (an explanation of players page is in the OPENING TIP thread), there are 5 teams that are highly expected to be eliminated in the first round:
Blazers, Thunder, Bucks, Bobcats, Bulls
So we have to start picking from these teams.
Today play Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats.
So we have narrowed the pool.
There are only 4 players worthy of a pick in those two teams:
Bucks: Salmons (without Bogut, Jennings and Delfino could be inserted if they adjust well)
Bulls: Rose, Noah, Deng
If we take a look at the timetable, we can see how the 3rd and 4th game of Chicago are on the same day of Portland & Oklahoma 3rd game and Utah and San Antonio 4th game, and we expect to make picks for them those days.
And we should pick the 3 Bulls players, or at least 2. While even the worst Bull is better than the only Buck.
So we have to pick a Bull.
Who?
Deng's performance is better home than away, and Lebron has rested for 3 games...
So we have Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.
Noah is a hot heart player that will get 'in shape' throughout the series as we saw last year in Boston. But you could also make the point that he can use the adjustments of O'neal in the first game to step up.
Both calls are good, but Rose is on fire in the last two weeks and last year posted 51 PRA in the first playoff game, so he is my man.

Hy there. Rose is always a great pick but i still think that this series will be longer than most ppl expect. Remember last year with the celtics (7 games)? in that case Rose could be a nice pick in games 3 or 4. Keep the good work. Feel free to join my league. Stay cool.
